What is Mr Black?

Mr Black is a Cold Brew Coffee Liqueur made in Australia from specialty-grade coffee.

How do I drink it?

Glass. Ice. Pour. Drink. Maybe add a splash of milk or cream, if that’s your thing. If you’re feeling adventurous, try it in a cocktail.

Does it contain caffeine?

Yes indeed. It’s made from real coffee, after all. One 30ml (1oz) pour of Mr Black contains 25-40% of the caffeine found in a single espresso.

What’s in it?

Specialty coffee. Water. Vodka. Sugar. That’s it.

Oh, it has sugar in it?

Mr Black has half the sugar and ten times the coffee concentration of other coffee liqueurs. Sugar is used to give a balance and mouthfeel normally associated with expertly made cocktails.

Is it vegan or vegetarian?

Yes. No animal derived products are used in the production of Mr Black.

Is it gluten free?

Yes. Mr Black is certified Gluten Free from ALS Food Labs in Sydney, Australia.

Is Mr Black Kosher?

Yes. Mr Black and our distillery has been certified Kosher by The Kashrut Authority of Australia & NZ (www.ka.org.au).

There is a small amount of sediment in our bottle – is this normal?

Yes, perfectly! It’s flavourless is a natural byproduct of our production process. We use no artificial flavourings or colourings in the production of Mr Black, and that occasionally results in a light sediment in the bottom of bottles.

What’s the expiration date?

There’s no expiration date but we bet it won’t last long! Best kept in the fridge.

Do I need to create an account to place an order?

Yes, you must create an account to place an order. Creating an account will allow you to manage your billing/shipping information as well as access your order status and history. You can create an account by clicking here and completing the Register information. Once complete, click ‘Register’ to create your account.

You can also create an account during the checkout process.

Once you have created your account, you can login for future visits. You will need to use the email address associated with your account to login.

How do I change my password?

1. Go to account login which can be found on the top right of the navigation bar, or by simply clicking here.

2. Under the Login section, click the link “Lost your password?”.

3. Enter the email address or username you used to set up your account on Cask and Barrel Club.

4. Once you click the ‘Reset Password’ button, you will receive an email which contains a link that will direct you to reset your password on our website. In the email, click the link ‘Click here to reset your password’. This will take you to the password reset page on our site. Please enter a new password of your choice and confirm the password by reentering it. Click the ‘Save’ button to complete this action.

Can I send a bottle abroad?

The Cask and Barrel Club does not arrange for the delivery of orders overseas.

Can I cancel my order?

No, orders cannot be canceled. All sales are final. If you have concerns about your order, please contact [email protected].
